Zacatecas lies in the heart of Central Mexico where 99% of the population does not know Christ, or are under the impression that he is one of the many Roman Catholic saints/idols. That literally means that only 1% of a population of approximately 1.4 million people professes to know Christ as their personal savior.

Our ministry focus area is Jerez County where we have been planting churches in the villages of Guadalupe Victoria, Monte de los Garcia, and Parral de las Huertas, and more recently in the town of Monte Escobedo. Currently we are holding services and Bible studies at the volleyball courts and in believer's homes during summer, Christmas, and Spring breaks.  

Short Term Missions Trips (5-10 days)

Typical Ministry Activites:

• Vacation Bible School
• Sports Camps such as Volleyball, Baseball & Soccer camps
• Evangelism (door-to-door, street ministry, drama)
• Outdoor Church Services

Group Fellowship Activities:

• Daily devotionals
• Worship
• Outdoor activities such as hiking or playing sports
• Sightseeing in the colonial city of Zacatecas

Summer Missionaries

We encourage college-aged young people to come spend a summer ministering with us! You will be staying with a host Mexican family and serving alongside the Elliotts and their short term missions teams. Speaking Spanish is encouraged but not a requirement. Summer missionaries will need to raise their own support for their duration with us. This will cover the costs of lodging, transportation in Mexico, and meals.
